Munro Research and Evaluation is the Data Controller and Data Processor and is committed to protecting the rights of individuals in line with the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) and the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data we collect - We only collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special categories of personal data or location-based information. This does however include name, address, email, and phone number.
Why we need your data - As a data controller we need to know your basic personal data to provide you with evaluation and research services as contracted. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need in order to provide and oversee this service.
Personal data is collected and processed under the following conditions of Article 6
- The data subject has given consent to the processing
- Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with the data subject
- Processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest
- Processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party.
As a data processor Munro Research and Evaluation may sometimes analyse data on behalf of other research and evaluation consultancies.
What we do with your data - All the personal data we process is processed in the UK. No third parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so. Personal data is collected and used for the purposes of an evaluation or research contract.
Personal data may be collected in order to carry out data analysis for the purposes of an evaluation or research contract. This data will never be shared without your consent. Personal data of a program/initiative’s recipients may be collected and analysed in order to provide an overall profile. How long we keep your data - We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of six years after which time it will be destroyed. For more information please contact: info@munro-research.co.uk
Any other data collected and/or processed will not be held for longer than is necessary for the completion of the contract.
What we would also like to do with your data - We will not use your personal data for anything other than the purposes of the specified contract.
What are your rights - If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact us to have the matter investigated info@munro-research.co.uk.
